ACEN report, Part 4: Take a look at the even-younger-than-GB comic Anathema Complex by Ryne, a remarkably pleasant young man from Artists Alley in Acen. The overal layout and line work is unusually clear, which is a nice change from some of the other comics I read. It reminds me a bit of Maus and a bit of the middle-early MT strips.  It's too soon to tell how the story and characters will progress, but I'll be watching with interest.  More picks from Artists Alley on Wednesday.

No, I haven't seen Episode 3 yet. I keep reading the same overall theme in reviews: much better than the first two but only a "basically good" movie. My instinct to avoid further disappointment prevents me from caring enough to deal with opening weekend fuss and crowds or spending full price to see it. I'm planning on watching it this week or next weekend at a matinee.

 I'm still working two articles due early this week, so I'll put up the voting button and incentive picture with the new comics community on Wednesday.  Then we'll go back to a new bonus photo every week.
